Fulton’s technology to charge the phone and tablet wirelessly
Fulton has introduced the technology to share the power of the tablets with the phones i.e. it works as a wireless charging mat for the phone. Fulton is already working on the wireless charging and introducing such technology at CES for years.
This year Fulton is going to introduce the technology, so that the Qi-compatible phones will be charged by attaching it to the tablet back-to-back. Among many of the Qi mobile phones that can use such wireless power technology includes Google Nexus 4, HTC Droid DNA, and Nokia Lumia 920 and 820.
“We’re excited to return to CES as it allows us to showcase the next generation of wireless power innovations developed by our award-winning team of scientists,” Dave Baarman, Director of Advanced Technologies for Fulton Innovation, said in a statement. “We’ve spent the last 14 years contributing to the wireless power industry and now our technology is built into 70% of the 10+ million Qi-based devices on the market today. Wireless power is rapidly becoming a must-have feature in the latest smart-phones and we’re proud to be a part of the rapidly-growing market.”
Not only this, but Fulton is also going to reveal multi-device charging platform for the first time that will come with the ability to charge the two devices, i.e. phone and tablet, at the same time. This platform will help to give the required amount of power to the devices.
Now, our eyes are looking for a charging platform that would be as big as a table so that not only the smartphones but other bigger devices could also be charged such as laptop.
