Twitter, micro-blogging social networking site, has made certain changes to its iPad app and profile-page layout to make it more facilitated for the users. This new change on the profile-page is much like the Facebook thinking. This new design will make it easy for the users to upload one larger image as a banner at the top of the timelines of the twitter interface with a standard photo in front in the middle. This photo will appear on every platform including Android, iPhone and iPad.
“Upload an all-new header photo on mobile apps for iPad, iPhone and Android or twitter.com, and the same image will appear whenever anyone views your profile on the web or these apps. You can upload your header photo, which appears above your Tweets, to express yourself instantly, anywhere.” Twitter reported in a blogpost.
Dick Costolo, CEO Twitter, unveiled the new outlook on an American breakfast TV-show.
Twitter has also announced a new app that will help the users to view photos and stories in full-screen landscape mode. The company has rebuilt the app for faster and easy utilization. “Twitter for iPad brings you closer to what’s happening all over the world, and makes it easy to keep up with the news you need to read, the photos you want to see and the people you follow.”
