Photo Contest by National Geographic

National Geographic has arranged a Photo Contest for the photography lovers from around the world. The grand prize winner for the contest will get $10,000 and a trip to National Geographic’s headquarters in Washington, D.C. This trip will be a participation in the annual National Geographic Photography Seminar in January 2013.

The contest, which has already enrolled more than 1800 entries, is in three categories, which are people, places and nature. Last date for submission to National Geographic is November 30. One of the rules of the contest is to keep the images real. You can enter into the competition here. There is a $15 fee for entry.

According to the magazine, in the same contest, last year more than 20,000 entries were received from about 130 countries.
