Google’s YouTube official app has been launched for iPhone and iPod touch
Google has just released the official YouTube app for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad (which would be more optimized by the time), which has been built by the YouTube engineers. This app is available free of cost at the store, the size of this app is 7.5 MB and is available in more than 50 languages. This app came after the removal of the built-in YouTube app from the latest iOS 6 Beta.
YouTube has mentioned on the iTunes Store,
“Watch the world’s videos and keep up with your favorite YouTube channels with the official YouTube app for iOS. Sign in to access your subscriptions, playlists, uploads and more.”
This app comes with the swiping ability from left to right to navigate across the app for subscriptions, recommendations and more. Users can search videos and channels easily with the help of voice search and query auto-completion. They can also share the videos easily on Google +, Facebook, Twitter and Email.
According to the YouTube Blog, there are 1 billion mobile views of the YouTube per day.
