International Mesothelioma Interest Group’s (iMig’s) 11th international annual conference

The International Mesothelioma Interest Group (iMig) has scheduled the 11^th International annual Conference of the Mesothelioma Interest Group (iMig 2012) from September 11^th-14^th, 2012 at the Boston Seaport Hotel & World Trade Center. IMIG is an independent international group of researchers working on mesothelioma.

The aim of the conference is to educate, and to prevent and cure mesothelioma. Some of the leading mesothelioma experts will join and talk in the conference. Not only will this but there also be workshops, debates, posters, and oral abstract sessions.

More than 500 delegates are expected to attend the conference as reported by the press release.

Co-chairs of the conference are Drs. Raphael Bueno and David Sugarbaker from the Brigham & Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School. Keynote speakers include Dr. Raja M. Flores, Chief of the Division of Thoracic Surgery at The Mount Sinai Medical Center, Michele Carbone, MD, PhD, Director of the University of Hawaii Cancer Center, and Dr. Joseph Friedberg, co-director of the Penn Mesothelioma and Pleural Program.
