Nokia announces the very soon U.S. availability of its 808 PureView smartphone
Nokia has announced that Nokia 808 PureView will soon be available unlocked and unsubsidized through Amazon in U.S. at $699.
The specialty of this phone is booming 41-megapixel camera with the company’s highest performing Carl Zeiss optics ever, along with the pixel oversampling technology by the company. With this oversampling technology, the camera reduces the visual noise found in the picture or video by combining up to seven pixels into one “pure” pixel. There will be no artificially created pixels in the picture, which can be zoomed in up to 3 times of the original shot.

The phone supports AT&T’s 3G network and T-mobile but only at 2G network. Pre-orders for this phone will start sometime later this week.
