Hong Kong has maximum number of internet users with tablet PCs

Hong Kong is found to have maximum number of tablet users in the world as reported in a latest global study by Ericsson, Swedish telecommunications equipment maker.

[hana-code-insert name=’StumbleUpon’ /][hana-code-insert name=’Reddit’ /]Ericsson surveyed more than 47,500 internet users in the age range of 16-60 across 58 countries and regions in the Q1 of the year.

It has been reported that nearly 34% of Internet users from the age 16 to the age 60 in Hong Kong have tablet PC. Singapore is at the second position with 31% and Norway is at the third place with 20%. However, Singapore’s tablet consumption would grow to close to 60% by the end of this year.

At this time, Singapore is at the top of smartphone ownership with 74% of Internet users from the age 16 to the age 60. In this situation, Hong Kong is at the second place with 73% and United Arab Emirates come at the third place with 64%. Smartphone consumption in Singapore would rise to 84% by the end of this year.
