Vizio has launched its first laptops and desktop PCs

Vizio, TV manufacturer with initial business, has launched its Mac-like PCs starting at the price of $898. The company has unveiled three different forms of Windows Computers i.e. ultrabooks, mid-size laptops and all-in-one-desktops.

Vizio CT-14 is a thin and light ultrabook with a thickness of 0.66 inches. It is available in 14 inch and 15.6 inch models dubbed CT-14 and CT-15 models respectively. It has Intel core i-series processor; i3, 1.7 GHz Intel Core i5-3317U, or 1.9 GHz Intel core i7-3517U. CT-14 has the resolution of 1,600×900-pixel display while CT-15 has the resolution of 1,920×1,080-pixel display. Most of the other specifications are same such as two USB 3.0 ports and 4GB of RAM, with either a 128GB or 256GB solid-state drive.

Vizio CN-15 is a 15.6 inch laptop 1920 x 1080 pixel display. It is available in three configurations i.e. the A0, A1, and A2, differentiated by CPU and RAM. It has Intel Core i3/Intel Core i5-3210M/Intel Core i7-3610QM, 500GB/1TB/1TB hybrid w/32GB SSD, 4GB/8GB RAM and Nvidia GeForce 640M LE.

Vizio CA-24 and CA-27, all-in-one desktop PCs, come with 24-inch or a 27-inch nontouch display respectively. There are three configuration options for both of the PCs from Intel’s third-generation Ivy Bridge Core i3 dual core CPUs to 2.3GHz Core i7 3610QM quad-core chip. Other specifications include Nvidia’s new Kepler graphics card, the GeForce GT 640M LE, as well as a 32GB solid-state hard drive installed on the motherboard to speed boot times and access to frequently used files (via Intel’s Rapid Start Technology).
