Egyptian teenager has patented a breakthrough invention regarding space travel

A teenage girl from Egypt has developed and patented a next-generation propulsion technology that would be able to send the spacecraft to other solar systems. It is one part of this interesting reality. The second part is that there would be no consumption of fuel in this propulsion technology.

She is just 19 years old and has left many scientists behind in the technology of going into space. Sohag University is helping her in patenting and other research processes.

Her idea is based on the concept that space is not a vacuum. In fact it is full of particles and anti-matter particles that are created and then destroy themselves within fractions of seconds. She thinks that this quantum effect can be harnessed through the dynamic Casimir effect. Through this technique, “moving mirror” cavity can be utilized in which two reflective plates made of silicon are placed close together and then manipulated in order to interact with the quantum particles. Energy can be created just by moving the plates and a net force is created to utilize in the movement of spacecraft.

Dr. Ahmed Fikry, Mustafa’s supervisor, said the invention would be highly advantageous in several fields and areas of industries once it has been fully functional.

Yesterday, we reported that a group of space enthusiasts have started a project to go in the space by 2112, we think that this patented technology could reduce their time by many folds.
