New Apple iMac will be launched in June with Intel’s Ivy Bridge Processor; Reports

Apple’s next version of iMac is expected to be launched by June and the interesting part is the presence of Intel’s next-generation processor code named Ivy Bridge in that iMac as reported by The Economic Daily News of China.

[hana-code-insert name=’StumbleUpon’ /][hana-code-insert name=’Reddit’ /]The new iMac will come with fewer changes than the iMac launched last year and will utilize Intel Core i5 and Core i7 chips, as reported by the media. These new iMacs are assembled by Foxconn and Quanta Computer, which are the Asian manufacturers.

Although, Intel has not released any official date for the next generation 22-nanometer Ivy Bridge Chips, but it has been considered that it will come by the end of this month with the release of several desktop and notebook computers.

Apple has already worked with Intel in the development of iMac Thunderbolt, in which Intel’s Sandy Bridge Chips were integrated.
