[hana-code-insert name=’StumbleUpon’ /][hana-code-insert name=’Reddit’ /] The patent-infringement litigation could lead to ban of TiVo’s television set-top boxes to U.S.
Microsoft filed complaints at the U.S. International Trade Commission in Washington and in federal court in San Jose, California, after TiVo sued Microsoft client AT&T Inc., which used Microsoft software for its U-Verse TV service.
TiVo has reported in a patent regulatory filing that it didn’t gave patent rights to Microsoft, and it will dismiss the counterclaims against the Microsoft.
TiVo has still patent-infringement litigation against Verizon Communications Inc.
