[hana-code-insert name=’StumbleUpon’ /][hana-code-insert name=’Reddit’ /] This program is from the makers of “Planet Earth”.

“Frozen Planet” is a documentary about the living things at the poles of the Earth i.e. it will give details of the wildlife in the Arctic and Antarctic zones of the Earth.

Vanessa Berlowitz and Chadden Hunter, producers for the program, said that four hard working years have been spent in order to bring the best in this program.

Huffington Post has reported some of the most interesting facts,

  • The Taiga Forest has about 1/3 of all the trees on the planet.
  • Glaciers can be of the height larger than the Skyscrappers in New York City.
  • Ice Caves can be created inside a volcano.

“That’s the thing about the natural world: It gives you amazing natural drama,” said Berlowitz, “Frozen Planet” series producer, “It looks like it’s scripted, but we don’t fake anything. Everything that we film is a complete portrayal of reality. And the audience thinks, `Wow, they did that without trained animals!”‘

“Our goal,” said Berlowitz, “is to do films that make people fall in love with the animals and places. What we want is for people to love them.”
