Asus Transformer Prime 3G is coming
Asus has confirmed that the next version of Eee Pad Transformer Prime, prepared to be launched in March, will be equipped with 3G connectivity. Moreover, that version will come with the more powerful GPS module and will be the world’s first quad-core Tegra 3 tablet.
The company has also announced that it has plans to launch an ARM-based Windows-8 slate by the end of the year. In addition, two more 10-inch tablets would be announced in the second half of 2012. ASUS has a 150-strong team to design and develop Windows-8 model.
According to Samson Hu, Vice President and General Manager of the Eee Systems Business Unit, CES 2012 will introduce 7-inch tablet and 10-inch “high-resolution” model.
Much more can be expected to be revealed in the coming week of Consumer Electronics Show (CES).
