This Chromebook is operating on Chrome OS with a strong and resilient design for the school environment. It has “a rubber bumper around the top cover, stronger corners, reinforced hinges and hinge brackets, and a high definition (HD) LED anti-glare screen”. Lenovo introduces multi-touch screen table computer

Lenovo, Chinese computer manufacturer, has introduced a giant touchscreen Table PC with a 27 inch screen having 17.8 pounds of weight. It is called as IdeaCentre Horizon.

This computer can be used as an “interactive table” or as a conventional PC. This computer has been introduced by the company at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas on Sunday.

Lenovo is biggest direct competitor of HP in PC market

Lenovo, Chinese PC maker, becomes the top PC maker of the world as reported by the research firm, Gartner.

According to the company’s recent report, Lenovo shipped 13.8 million units in the third quarter that is even more than that shipped by Hewlett-Packard (HP). In that time, HP shipped 13.55 million units.

CES: Intel Corporation has joined hands with Lenovo and Motorola to make Intel based smartphones and tablets


Intel Corporation has announced on Tuesday the entry of the company into smartphone world i.e. intel in smartphones.

Paul Otellini, Intel’s CEO, said in a keynote on Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas that Lenovo and Motorolla will release smartphones and tablets based on Intel’s Atom chips code-named Medfield.

Lenovo has unveiled a hybrid of ultrabook and tablet with touchscreen on Monday during a Lenovo Press Conference at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2012. The device is an ultrabook that can be changed into a tablet just by flipping the display. This is IdeaPad Yoga.
