Chinese gamers were not able to play video games on a console since 2000 as these were banned in the country. All types of gaming consoles including PS3, Xbox 360, or Nintendo Wii were not there since that time. However, the public was able to play the games on computer whether online or offline and to play the games on smartphones and other devices.

Sony Computer Entertainment Japan has patented the technology of restricting or blocking the use of the second hand video games. This technology will tag the game discs to the user accounts resulting in the rejection of playing the game with another user’s account.

Nintendo Co.’s Wii U has been set for sale in U.S. with apps and games. The company has not offered the Nintendo TVii service. This feature will be available in December as said by the company on November 16.
