Open a new Blender document and select the cube that has already been placed by the software. Confirm the frame number of 1 at the timeline below. Click on the screen, press “I” and select “Location”. This will place a keyframe at the frame number 1; thereby, remembering the present location of the cube. Now move the green line of the current frame away from frame 1 and to some other frame as, for example, frame number 20. A small yellow line will leave behind.

While the cube is selected press “G” and move the cube to some other position. Now press “I” and add another Location keyframe.

Now press ALT+A for automatically cycling through the timeline. The animation starts. Now press ESC to stop the animation.

Click in the box “End:” below, and change the end frame number to some other number such as 25. Now press ALT+A again to start the animation and check the animation. This will cause the animation to go on until you press ESC.
