“Be a responsible Pakistani” – a video

The link to the video is available here: https://youtu.be/x5XcWYJm9r8

Actually, it is one of my first attempts to do something that could help in bringing ease in the lives of people. Initially, I worked on the “Green gift”… Ok… In this video, I have shown my try to repair a damaged part of the road that was there for over one year and that was becoming the cause of car jams and rushes as you can see as red line in the figure below:

I was thinking of working on the road for more than two weeks, but due to some reasons, such as raining, I was not able to start the work on the damaged road until 9th of January in 2020. In order to work on the road, I went to the people selling sands, cements, and pieces of stones. I brought the things at the price of about PKR 2500. It was about half a Suzuki carrier of sand, half of the carrier of pieces of stone, and two bags of cements. Then the fees of the person experienced in mixing and making the concrete was set at about PKR 1000. Nevertheless, my total amount spent on the damaged road was about PKR 4000. I am giving details, so that you may know that it is not an expensive task and even you can start working on the repairing of damaged paths to bring ease in the lives of people.

Nevertheless, we started working on the road at about 10 AM. Initially, the damaged part was cleared, and then the mixture of sand, pieces of stone, cement, and water was placed on the damaged part. Interestingly, a driver of Riksha who was standing there came and started helping us in putting the material on the road as you can see in the picture below:

After placing the material on half of the road, people started gathering around us. Some were in favor of this good task, while the others were not in favor. We were amazed by the level of impatience shown by those people. Nonetheless, after much resistance from the people, we stopped working, but still we put the material in the nearby damaged areas on the road as shown below:

Although I was unable to complete the task as I thought and wanter, I am happy that I did something for the ease of people. On a further note, the road after repair is much better than the road before repair. Now the people can go through the damaged area without much jerk, and this gives me a certain level of sense of relief. I hope that you will remember me in your “dua” (supplication), so that I may be able to more of such beautiful things to bring ease in the lives of people.

A relief
