Google has started the incorporation of Google Voice into the Google contacts. Users will now be able to make calls and send texts from the Google Contacts directly. In order to do this, they have to hover over the number field in the contact card and then select Call or SMS icon, which appear shortly.
At this time, contacts can be added and edited on different platforms, including Gmail, Google Voice, and Google+ with unique interface on every platform.
According to The Verge, the company has rolled the integration process in the past 24 hours.
Google wrote, “Google Contacts is replacing Google Voice Contacts. Eventually we’ll be enabling the new experience for everyone but, you can try it out now by visiting google.com/contacts.”
This update shows that Google working on to simplifying the contact management across all of the services.
