Samsung Galaxy S III became the super thing in smartphone market in Britain in November as it attained fifth position in the top ten products in the monthly uSwitch.com Mobile Tracker chart “based on live searches, pre-orders and pay monthly sales”. Not only this but Samsung’s other products including S II, Galaxy Ace, Galaxy Ace II and Galaxy Note II are in the top ten positions.
Although iPhone 5 is the latest product from Apple but it is at the third position and Apple’s iPhone 4S 16 GB smoved up two positions and reached the top second position. uSwitch reported, “With free handset deals from £26 per month, as opposed to the iPhone 5’s £36 per month, the 4S looks to be impressing customers with its comparative affordability, not to mention its impressive speed, eight megapixel camera and Siri voice control.”
The LG Nexus 4 and HTC One X+ are in the fifth and ninth position respectively although they are the new entries. LG Nexus 4 has the Android Beam technology enabling the users to share their photos videos and contacts by simply tapping the handset with another enabled device.
“The affordable price point has kept the Samsung Galaxy S3 at the top of the tree, but whether it will be at the top of the Christmas tree remains to be seen, as price drops for both the 4S and 5 have seen the iPhone quickly gaining ground.” Ernest Doku, telecoms expert at uSwitch.com, said in a statement.
