Students have to play their role in the fight against Dengue fever as said by Madam Iram Bukhari, Provincial Secretary for Women Empowerment Department, in the Government College for women in Bhakkar during the Dengue awareness seminar. Rana Shahid Mahmood, a gender specialist, Miss Azra Shahid, Distt. Safety Officer 1122, and other staff members were also there during the seminar.

Speakers also said during the seminar that dengue is a harmful disease and students can play an important role to aware people by sending this message to every home. Students can help in the success of Dengue awareness program. It has also been emphasized that every possible protective and healthful measures have to be adopted.

In the end, pamphlet and literature for the dengue awareness were also distributed among the participants from the Women Empowerment Department and Rescue 1122.

It has also been reported that an inspection team in the leadership of Javed Nisar Syed, Member Board of Revenue Punjab, will visit Distt. Bhakkar during the first three days of September to check for the measures adopted to end dengue. The team will inspect the different areas, so that the dengue campaign could become successful.
