Steve Jobs FBI file showed nothing new
Steve Jobs’, Apple Inc. former CEO and Cofounder, FBI file is out in public view on Thursday and has no surprises for the people, who knew his history through Walter Isaacson’s recent biography, which showed Steve Jobs as one of the complicated personalities.
The FBI file was conducted and compiled in 1991 as a part of a background check at the request of the White House, considering him for a political appointment. The final report came after interviews with more than 35 people, who knew him. They “characterized Mr. Jobs as a deceptive individual” or “described his personal life as being lacking due to his narcissism or shallowness” but even then they recommend him as a position in federal government requiring trust and confidence.
According to the reports, Jobs was “a deceptive individual who is not completely forthright and honest,” as well as one who will “twist the truth and distort reality in order to achieve his goals.” The reports also showed the usage of drugs by Jobs during his college time.
The FBI’s research strengthens the views that Steve Jobs was not only an industrious person and dedicated to his work but also “alienating” – as cited by them.
