Twitter has changed the design and made a significant alteration in its micro-blogging service, offering posts and messages limited to 140 characters, on December 8, so that more of the users will come and join it. This change is not only for online version but also for mobile version of the site.Among the major changes in it are the tabs across the screen – Home, Connect and Discover. Another most important feature introduced by Twitter is its brand pages, which are already offered by Facebook and Google plus. Profile page has also been enhanced.
This change is making an ease of use for new comers and strong stage for partners and advertisers, so that the connection with others could be facilitated. Although this new design has not fascinated some people at this time but the company knows better about what to show and what to hide.
This change for improvement is thought to be one of the works of co-founder Jack Dorsey, who returned to Twitter earlier this year.
Moreover, Twitter has also released the first stable version of TweetDeck 1.0, which is recently acquired, multi-columned Twitter Client, and runs on both Mac and Windows operating systems.
